Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of AcreTally. They are written to be read — if anything is unclear, ask us before you rely on it.
1. The service
AcreTally is a workspace for small residential real-estate investors: deal pipeline, underwriting, project tracking, documents, and portfolio bookkeeping. The service is provided by Acretally, Inc. (“Acretally”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, if you act for a company, that company.
2. Accounts and workspaces
You need an account with a verified email address to use AcreTally. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your password secure. A workspace owner controls who is invited to their workspace and what those members can see and edit; invited members get only the access the owner grants.
3. Your content
The deals, documents, numbers, and records you put into AcreTally are yours. You give us the limited rights needed to store, process, and display that content to you and the teammates you authorize — that is, to run the service. We do not sell your content and we do not use it to advertise to anyone.
You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload and for how you use the outputs of the service.
4. Not financial, legal, or investment advice
AcreTally computes figures from the numbers you enter — cap rates, cash-on-cash returns, rehab budgets, projections, and similar. These are tools, not advice. We are not a broker, lender, appraiser, accountant, or investment adviser, and nothing in the service is a recommendation to buy, sell, or finance any property. Verify every number independently before you rely on it.
5. Subscriptions and fees
Paid plans, when offered, are billed per workspace in advance on a recurring basis. Prices and plan limits (such as seats) are shown at the point of purchase. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the period already paid. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: no unlawful activity, no infringing or deceptive content, no attempts to breach security, probe other customers’ data, resell the service, or interfere with its operation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Termination
You may stop using AcreTally and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end the service for a breach of these terms, for non-payment, or if we are required to by law. On termination we will, on request and where technically feasible, give the workspace owner a reasonable opportunity to export their content before it is deleted.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Acretally will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material we will notify you — for example by email or an in-app notice — before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
